Tokyo Guitar Jam Session March 2016

If you are interested in learning guitar with a fun, supportive group of guitarists, please come along to our regular jam sessions held twice a month in Hiro, Shibuya in Tokyo.

Where: We hold group guitar classes at our practice rooms in Hiro in Shibuya

When: We hold sessions 2 times a month. Please see the schedule below for more details.

Who: Alex is the main teacher of the group. He’s been teaching and playing guitar for over 20 years and loves helping guitar students of all levels achieve their guitar playing goals. You will also meet other learner guitarists which creates an even more effective and fun learning atmosphere. Groups allow you to learn from other students in your position and jam together.

What: Every jam session, we pick one topic, song or technique to practice, then apply that during a jam. Finally, we ask and answer each other’s questions about playing guitar and how to practice.

How long: Each session is 2 hours long

Level: All levels are welcome and we usually spit sessions into beginner and intermediate/advanced levels.

Price: The usual cost of the lessons are 2500 JPY to 3500 JPY depending on the practice rooms we rent in Tokyo. This pays for rental and equipment costs.

Extras: You will need to have your own guitar but we do have 1 spare guitar just in case
